I founded The Ownership Mindset because I saw that many creative entrepreneurs were struggling to bridge the gap between creativity and business. They wanted to create a beautiful, kind culture, but they also wanted to make a profit and elevate the lives of their employees.

I believe that it's possible to do both. Relational, creative work needs relational and creative intention woven into every area, even the most mundane tasks.

I've had a job since I was 15 years old, and I've worn many hats along the way. I've been a produce girl, a nanny, a maid, a receptionist, an educator, a hairstylist, a marketer, a creative director, a general manager in the music industry, and a business owner. All of these experiences have given me a unique perspective on business ownership.

I've seen firsthand how the disconnect between an entrepreneur's desires and their business practices can lead to burnout, stress, and even failure. I'm passionate about helping entrepreneurs build businesses that they love, that are profitable, and that make a positive impact on the world.

In addition to The Ownership Mindset, I own a hair salon in Nashville, Tennessee called Fruition. We are green-minded, offer ten beverages at all times, always have a candle burning, and love our historic neighborhood. I'm a born and raised Chicagoan, but I've called Nashville home since 2011. I'm married with two kids, and I love to see stand-up, travel, eat vegan gelato, and hike in Tennessee.
